American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor Course

Overview: Bayside CPR & AED Training Center is proud to serve as a National American Heart Association Training Center, providing the comprehensive American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver Instructor Course.

Course Details:

• Prerequisite: A current (American Heart Association) BLS or Heartsaver card is required for enrollment as an instructor.
• Course Fee: $500.00 (All-inclusive, includes AHA Heartsaver Instructor Manual, EBOOK provided unless noted otherwise, AHA Online Instructor Essentials Course to be completed before the class date, Bayside CPR Instructor Course, Mandatory Instructor Monitoring within six months of completing the discipline-specific classroom instructor course, Instructor Card, and Alignment with the American Heart Association Instructor Network with Bayside CPR as your Training Center).

Post-Course Benefits: Upon successful completion of the course, you will be prepared to order cards through us and commence your teaching journey!

Alignment Requirements: To maintain alignment with Bayside CPR, instructors must:

• Teach at least 2 classes per year.
• Undergo mandatory instructor monitoring within six months of completing the discipline-specific classroom instructor course.
• Pay the alignment fee of $150 every 2 years, due upon completion of the instructor renewal course.

Membership in AHA Instructor Network: As an instructor, you gain access to the most current emergency cardiovascular care science, course updates, training resources, and tools through the online AHA Instructor Network. Additionally, you can post class dates and times on the AHA public website, expanding your reach to more students.
